Café Finovo

Title

Café Finovo

Subject

Queer Café

Description

Café Finovo, founded in 2006 by AIDS activist Bernd Boßmann, is a community space in Berlin-Schöneberg’s St. Matthäus Cemetery. It serves as a gathering place for queer mourning and remembrance, closely tied to the non-profit Denk mal PositHIV e.V., which cares for the graves of those lost to AIDS. The services at the café cater to people, who due to their diagnosis, sometimes have limited financial resources, so the prices reflect that.
