The first location of Tresor techno club was vaults under the Wertheim department store. Tresor has a relatively relaxed door policy, and because of this it is open to many identities. The nightclub plays techno music and offers a variety of drinks. This location was in east Berlin and was created shortly before Berlin unified.
This club is important because of the diverse clientele it brings in. This means that this is a safe space for queer folks, as well as a space for people to express their kinky/fetishwear as well.
