Pussycat, an intimate, old-school bar in Berlin’s Schöneberg district, has been a local staple since 1974. Opened by two women and once a lesbian hangout, it now welcomes a diverse crowd, with smoking, Schlager music, and a nostalgic charm. Run by longtime employee Donna after the passing of beloved former owner Daniela, Pussycat remains a hidden gem in Berlin’s queer scene. It’s home to cigar socials, BLUF gatherings, and Black Weekends, attracting leather and fetish communities while maintaining its cozy, laid-back vibe. Look for the smiling cat sign and ring the doorbell for entry.
