Spinnboden is an archive and library dedicated to recording lesbian history. Started in 1973 by members of the Homosexuelle Aktion Westberlin (HAW), Spinnboden is dedicated to ensuring the histories, relationships, and achievements of lesbian/queer women are documented, preserved, and remembered. Alongside their archive, the organization also hosts a number of workshops and community events around lesbian and queer history, as well as counseling services geared toward queer issues. The archive is still taking submissions and continues to grow, accepting both monetary and informational donations.
