Christmas Avenue, also referred to as the "queerstem Weihnachtsmarkt", is a queer Christmas market hosted on the historic Nollendorfplatz in Berlin. Since 2019, the market has been a popular seasonal event in Berlin for both locals and tourists. In the weeks leading up to Christmas, It offers a selection of pop-up shops, wine bars, and various live events featuring local queer artists. The Christmas Avenue’s goal is to uplift and celebrate the queer community in Berlin, as well as give queer artists, organizations, and community members the chance to spotlight their work and bring attention to queer issues. It’s intended to be a celebration of all expressions of queer existence for anyone aged 16 and up (due to some its more mature offerings).
