Kaiserpassage

Title

Kaiserpassage

Subject

Passageway/Building Complex

Description

The Kaisergalerie was a passageway and building complex was full of many economic attractions, such as stores, performance venues and hotels, etc. It was also a hot spot for people hoping to solicit prostitution, as there were a wealth of sex workers who frequented the area. They were both male and female, though the female prostitutes were much more visible, while the male prostitutes (because of the stigma/illegality of homosexuality) were typically more discreet.
