Title
Verona Lounge
Subject
Lesbian Bar
Description
Verona Lounge had a pleasant, classy environment that would turn to more erotic later in the evening. That was a place for "serious" lesbians as well as voyeuristic male artists and interested straight women. "Gougnettes," aka, women who dressed with stylish skirts, with heavy makeup, and stylish hats, would meet here for sexual displays of domination.
