Description
Galerie Janssen is a long running media store in Berlin's city West, with a focus on the theme of "man in art". The store was founded by Volker Janssen who opened a publishing company of the same name. In the earlier years the store sold mainly paintings, figures, and books but has shifted to mainly electronic media, and posters, among other merchandise. Galerie Janssen is important as being a historically significant outlet for gay-interest DVDs. GayCities describes Galerie Janssen as "Germany's first purveyor of erotic gay imagery"
